How to Enter ALMA and the Services Available to You

Have you chosen your course? Excellent!Now it is time to take action. Enrolling at ALMA is a straightforward process, but please remember: our courses have a limited number of places and accommodation is in high demand. The sooner you move, the more peace of mind you will have in securing your place "in the brigade."

How to Enroll

Here are the steps to transition from an applicant to an ALMA student:

Choose the Course

Verify the entry requirements on our website.

Choose the Edition

Some courses run multiple editions each year. When submitting your application, specify your chosen intake immediately.

03.
Complete the Application
Click the "APPLY" (CANDIDATI) button next to your selected edition to start the online application: just a few quick steps to let us know who you are.
04.
Enrollment Confirmation
Our Admissions Office will verify your requirements and, if everything is in order, will send you the documentation to finalize your enrollment along with the payment details.
05.
Proceed with Payment
Depending on the course, you will either pay a confirmation deposit followed by subsequent tuition installments, or pay the full course fee upfront.

Now you are officially an ALMA student!

What if the housing spaces are fully booked?

No problem: we will help you find accommodation within the town of Colorno thanks to special agreements we have established with local real estate agencies.

Invest in Your Talent: Funding Solutions and Benefits

With the aim of supporting international students to fulfil their dream of learning Italian Cuisine and Pastry Arts, ALMA has allocated dedicated funds, in order to allow students to take advantage of partial study support.

These scholarships are available for the full path (Unit 1 + Unit 2) only.

As a student, you can apply to our scholarships by submitting a motivational letter together with your CV when applying for our courses. The Enrolment Dept. will confirm the acceptance of your profile for the course and for the scholarship.

Next generation chef grant

This scholarship is dedicated to young chefs and professionals who wish to specialize in Italian Cuisine, and becoming an active player to a more sustainable catering industry. You are eligible for this grant if you meet the following requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma
  • Intermediate knowledge of English language
  • Previous experience in the sector/educational degree in the sector
  • A perspective towards sustainability in the kitchen

Freshmen grant

This scholarship is dedicated to young students, with no previous experience in the sector, who wish to start their career in the catering industry, focusing on Italian Cuisine and Pastry Arts. You are eligible for this grant if you meet the following requirements:

  • Age between 18 and 25 y.o.
  • High school diploma
  • Intermediate knowledge of English language
  • No/very little experience in the sector.

A career for life grant

This scholarship is dedicated to all those students who wish to take a chance on a second career and change their educational and professional path. You are eligible for this grant if you meet the following requirements:

  • 26 y.o or older.
  • High school diploma/Bachelor Degree
  • Intermediate knowledge of English language
  • No/very little experience in the sector
  • A project for a future career in the catering industry
